Rain Harvesting

Your rain collection system is designed to ensure that the maximum amount
of rain can be collected in a clean and efficient manner.

Watersmart offer a range of advanced rain harvesting and tank systems designed to provide your home with the freshest water:

As rain falls, a 'first flush' diverter allows the first few litres to run off, carrying away any roof-borne contaminants, dust and organic debris, before collection begins.

From there, water is gently fed to the bottom of a storage tank through a 'calm' inlet, which prevents new and older water mixing, and ensures the freshest, most oxygenated water moves to the top, to be drawn off first.

The 'first in, first out' overflow cycle means your home is supplied with the freshest water possible from your in-ground, or free-standing storage tank.

"During the building of our new house Steven and his team at Watersmart provided us with first class advice and service.

Steven was more than willing to meet on site to outline various options available to collect, store, pump and filter the rain water.

We opted for concrete storage water tanks with a submersible pump and first flush diverter. The filtration system uses ultra violet and cartridges.

Watersmart supplied and fitted all the products in a timely and professional way".
