Watersmart Steadfast Conference Competition 

Terms & Conditions 

Eligibility 

  • Open to attendees of the Steadfast Conference 2025. 

  • Entrants may be asked to provide proof of attendance to validate their entry. 

  • Entrants must be 18 years or older. 

  • Employees of Watersmart and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. 

    How to Enter 

  • Scan the QR code provided at the event and follow Watersmart on LinkedIn (1 entry). 

  • Follow Watersmart on Facebook and Instagram for additional entries. 

  • Comment #getfloodynow on any Watersmart post for a bonus entry. 

  • Each action counts as a separate entry. 

  • Watersmart reserves the right to verify entrants’ compliance with the competition rules before awarding the prize. 

    Prize 

  • One (1) Double Garage Floody Pack, valued at over $2,000. 

  • Prize includes delivery of the product within New Zealand only. 

  • Installation, set-up, or additional services are not included. 

  • Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 

  • The winner must accept the prize as awarded. No substitutions will be made except at Watersmart’s discretion. 

  • Standard manufacturer’s warranty applies to the product. 

    Competition Period 

  • Entries open at the start of the Steadfast Conference and close at the end of the event 16 September 2025 at 3pm NZST. 

    Winner Selection & Notification 

  • The winner will be drawn at random after the close of the competition. 

  • The winner will be notified via the social media platform(s) used to enter. 

  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, Watersmart reserves the right to redraw the prize. 

  • Prize delivery date will be arranged directly with the winner within a reasonable timeframe. 

    Liability & Use 

  • Floody barriers are designed as a temporary flood protection product and must be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. 

  • Watersmart is not liable for any damage, loss, or injury arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or use of the product outside its intended purpose. 

  • Entrants acknowledge that the product provides temporary protection only and is not a guarantee against flooding or water damage. 

    Privacy 

  • By entering, participants consent to Watersmart collecting and using their contact details solely for the purposes of administering the competition and delivering the prize. 

  • Entrants consent to their name being published by Watersmart if they are the winner. 

    General 

  • Watersmart reserves the right to cancel, amend, or withdraw the competition if necessary. 

  • Watersmart is not responsible for any interruption, delay, or cancellation due to circumstances beyond its control.
