Fencetank Case Study: Tauranga

Client: DBT Construction

Location: 2 Maxine Place,
Matua, Tauranga

Product: Fencetank

The Problem

The homeowner at Maxine Place, Matua, Tauranga, needed a solution for slow stormwater discharge from a large roof area. The only available location for the required 1000L FenceTank was on their back patio, which was part of their entertainment area and considered an eyesore.

The Solution

Dave Beattie from DBT Construction provided an innovative solution by installing the tank in-ground, out of sight. He designed a cover that functioned as a bench, integrating seamlessly with the patio’s aesthetic. This project demonstrated the flexibility of the FenceTank, proving it can be adapted to fit virtually anywhere, even in aesthetically sensitive areas.

The Outcome

The in-ground installation successfully concealed the tank, maintaining the visual appeal of the entertainment area while effectively managing stormwater. This solution showcased the FenceTank’s versatility in adapting to challenging spaces without compromising functionality or aesthetics.
